This weekend was hard, hard on so many people. The scare, the hype and then the real thing…Irene. For many; it went smooth; little to no damage and bit of a mess around neighborhoods. For others, not so peachy! Our hearts go out to the families that lost a lot in this hurricane….to the hundreds of couples that had to reschedule their weddings…and to mother nature -you are one tough cookie!

We shot a wedding on Saturday; it was raining, hard, non stop. However, Lisa and Mike were such troopers; enjoyed every single minute of their special day! Shot below is in the lighter rain; out cameras and Lisa’s dress took a beating…but well worth it all!

Now, Adeola and Quincy’s wedding had to be moved from Sunday to Monday. That did not stop these two to shine on their wedding day like rock stars. Their happiness and smiles were contagious!
