Dori and Mark booked us pretty close to their wedding – almost last minute, despite the fact that Mark is a wedding photographer himself, or maybe it was because of that very fact. They had hard time choosing the right photog for them, I mean who can argue with that, as photographers we are very very picky. So it’s a super honor to have other photographers choose, lil’ ole us, to document their days. It humbles us every time and for this year, this is our second wedding photographer wedding.
From the minute we met with them, we had a connection, Dori’s excitement and super sweet demeanor complements Marks uber cool and chill being… they just go together and you can see it and feel it. Their wedding day was so important and their excitement about it just emanated like warm sunshine rays. It meant a long journey together and a beginning of a new one, it meant family and faith to them and most of all it meant LOVE.
Rain and thunderstorms changed plans but no one was upset, they kind of had two ceremonies because of that. It started in a beautiful outside under trees and when we heard loud thunders, right after their vowels…everyone just went inside a little chapel and the ceremony went on as skies got dark and gloomy and rain started pouring; inside their love glowed. Not long after the ceremony, the skies opened up and we went on an awesome portrait spree! Not caring about the dress, running through the fields of grass, enjoying the time together in front of our cameras. We could not ask for more. It was perfect. It was everything we hope EVERY WEDDING is; a true celebration no matter what little things don’t go as wished/planned.
There was so much emotion through out the day, Dori’s father was so awesome and expressive, their father/daughter dance was truly moving. Their whole families and friends were so warm and we had great time being part of their celebrations. Thank you.
