A little sneak peak of things to come… Dev and Wilkie got married in the NJ Botanical Garden and it rocked! Two ceremonies and lots of fun later; the photos will rock their world. They, their family and friends were incredible…..but for now…we are off to another wedding… happy weekend friends!

“The purity of a person’s heart can be quickly measured by how they regard animals”

A dog quote on an engagement session you ask? Why yes my dear. This is for Tori and David- our clients; wonderful folks who just adopted a puppy [pit boxer mix] and anybody who knows us …knows, we have a soft spot for adopting animals ….more so if those animals are pits or pit mixes! Not for nothing, our clients rock, they get IT! So, on this warm day, downtown Manhattan, during lunch time we hang out with Tori and David. Walked the streets in search of the perfect community gardens of the Lower East Side; boy did you see some of them are so so so cool! We found a big one and shot few photos there and on the way there, and on the way back. Here are few photos form the session; Tori and David – thanks so much for sharing those few hours with us. We can’t wait for your wedding.

I like very much those photos. The tones with you finish your images give us a smooth and quiet sensation. Very beautiful. Congrats.

“I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.”

We just met Rachel and Eli this very moment the session was happening; although we’ve spoken to both of them over the phone before. It’s just cool that clients can totally call you and book you because of the work itself [well, of course our charm even over the phone had a lot to do with it too I bet!] and then, when you meet, you know it is a great match. Anyway, we adore those two lovebirds. There’s an amazing soft and girly energy to Rachel who could not stop smiling and she’s just so cute! With that and their incredible connection it was super easy to shoot their session. They live and love Brooklyn but we shot the session in and around Financial District and Battery Park. Our fave new location in the city; love the architecture of downtown and super bonus for shooting there on Sunday; quietness. Oh, and we hope they celebrated after our session because that day Rachel got some awesome news about getting into Grad School; that’s totally awesome and we wish to congratulate her again.

What a sweet session. I love her smile in the first larger black and white.
Great session Aga. I love the images and location is great!!!

So, what a perfect timing for a Wednesday’s post? A feature of New Year’s NYC wedding elopement on Junebug weddings. Head on over to read all about Deb and Rick’s day. We loved capturing their NYC experience along side with our favorite guerrilla officiant Judie L. Guild! Yes, NYC was crazy on that NYE afternoon but it was all worth capturing!
