That’s it, it’s going to be awesome and we can’t wait. Oh, they rocked this session no? yes they did; we adore that our clients are so relaxed, down to earth and we can hang out; take photos and have a good time.

Well, well…a Saturday post? indeed.   A little sneak peak of things to come… Dev and Wilkie got married in the NJ Botanical Garden and it rocked!    Two ceremonies and lots of fun later;  the photos will rock their world.   They, their family and friends were incredible…..but for now…we are off to another wedding… happy weekend friends!

TDesesh 001 portraits engagements

A dog quote on an engagement session you ask?  Why yes my dear.  This is for Tori and David- our clients;  wonderful folks who just adopted a puppy [pit boxer mix] and anybody who knows us …knows, we have a soft spot for adopting animals ….more so if those animals are pits or pit mixes!   Not for nothing, our clients rock, they get IT!    So, on this warm day, downtown Manhattan, during lunch time we hang out with Tori and David.    Walked the streets in search of the perfect community gardens of the Lower East Side;  boy did you see some of them are so so so cool!   We found a big one and shot few photos there and on the way there, and on the way back.    Here are few photos form the session; Tori and David – thanks so much for sharing those few hours with us.   We can’t wait for your wedding.

We just met Rachel and Eli this very moment the session was happening; although we’ve spoken to both of them over the phone before. It’s just cool that clients can totally call you and book you because of the work itself [well, of course our charm even over the phone had a lot to do with it too I bet!] and then, when you meet, you know it is a great match.  Anyway,  we adore those two lovebirds.    There’s an amazing soft and girly energy to Rachel who could not stop smiling and she’s just so cute!  With that and their incredible connection it was super easy to shoot their session.    They live and love Brooklyn but we shot the session in and around Financial District and Battery Park. Our fave new location in the city; love the architecture of downtown and super bonus for shooting there on Sunday; quietness.    Oh, and we hope they celebrated after our session because that day Rachel got some awesome news about getting into Grad School;  that’s totally awesome and we wish to congratulate her again.

So, for this Wednesday …I mean where did a full week go? Everything is happening in lightening speed. We hardly have the time to sit down and relax but it’s ok, life is meant to be lived. We love it. I do, I love fast pace…Marcin is more of that relaxed kind of dude. That’s why we are such a perfect match! Anyhooo, lets get to this beauty. Chelsea is a cool girl. She even has her radio show at a local college. How cool is that, we love that radio station and we’ll be listening to her for sure. So, Chelsey and I went to this local abandoned village and shot few cool photos.  I think they perfectly fit the theme of  spring…we had amazing light and the colors… well they were just perfectly fitting Chelsea’s wheat blond hair and a slight tan.    HELLO, warm sunny days.

Well, hello there.    It’s another Wednesday and another blog post.   We’ll keep this one short since it’s about none other than yours truly.  Our little family.  All together.  At once.  Hardly happens in pictures.   It’s usually us shooting them and frankly, we like it this way the best.

But we figured; what better way to connect with our readers – show ourselves a bit!   Yup, we’re shy but photos like the one above mean so much.  One little moment in time caught on film.   Seemingly simple and ordinary but it means the world to us.  Meet our little bunch.  This is us.  Our daily life.   Hanging out together, cuddling and laughing or just being quiet.    This makes us so happy.

We want to give you the same thing with our photography; capture something that is special, one little second in time that you will look at in the far far future and smile because it will make you remember how you felt; that very moment a photograph was taken…

We love Easter!   No, not only for the awesome food our moms cook up but Easter means spring…it means flowers and colors…Holidays for us mean family time and we love that; we love sitting at a table and talking, stuffing our faces with all the food we allow ourselves to pig on only once a year.    So, we’re just getting ready to leave for family Easter breakfast, but we thought we’d leave you with this photo.   Coco is adjusting well to our family and found her new sweet spot; living room couch, once she goes on it in the evening while we watch some tv, she won’t come off till the morning and time to go outside for them.    Oh, it’s not like they wake up with us and beg us to go out….oh no!  They comfortably sleep until 9-10 am util they are ready to wake up and go… can pitmixes be princesses?   we believe so now.

Hello there. It’s Wednesday and twitter and facebook is blowing up with #WeddingWednesday, so why not make it on the blog too? We’ll just make it blogging wednesday [not that we don't plan to blog any other days but we figured a little structure might help?].

So, JoAnne and Aki got married on a winter day in New Jersey…yup, we even had bit of snow flakes right before leaving the house. The ceremony was very special to them as they were super excited for that one moment- to be officially married! Aki’s family is Nigerian so an important part of the wedding was the changing of outfits into traditional Nigerian ones! Did you ever see a Nigerian woman make her head wrap? Boy, that’s some skill right there and they are sooo beautiful!

Their party continued in the lovely Crystal Plaza in Livingston NJ with lots of dancing, laughing and celebrations – just the way we like it! All expertly supervised by the lovely Eileen from An Affair to Remember.

Dev and Wilkie are a riot!    The session was lighthearted, fun and just plain bubbly.     We strolled Central Park on an early Sunday afternoon, warm sun hitting our faces, walking perhaps just a little too much for Dev’s awesome stilstiettos but I think we would all agree it was worth it.      Their wedding is coming up early in our season and we can’t wait; they have been recommended to us by our previous clients [Smita+Aroon] and we can’t wait to see them at the wedding too!  Everybody knows we love Indian Weddings, not for the awesome, no…no…no, best vegetarian food but for the colors and culture and PEOPLE!      See you soon our friends!
