A long, beautifully snowed in winter makes you appreciate and enjoy the spring time so much more. I love that. I love snow. Winter. and Spring. We’re back from our travels and very very tired. However, it was an amazing weekend and we’re glad to have had chance to see old friends and make new ones. Safura and Ryan’s wedding was the bomb. It took place in Safura’s parent’s house in Toronto with lots of DIY details, beautiful flowers and Persian dancing. Our friend Scott came out to help us shoot it. Here’s a quick sneak. So, yeah, I say it over and over again that we have wonderful clients…Amelia + Lee exceeded our expectations x 100. One of the maid of honors quoted somebody’s reaction words when they met the lovely couple “they feel like home” and we so agree with this statement. Their family, their friends, their love are truly inspirational – seriously this is what we live for! Couples like that, connection like that, celebrations like that – photographs like that! Simplicity, vintage details, surf club in Montauk, relaxed atmosphere and love everywhere. I can’t post a lot; this is just a sneak peak. Thank you and congratulations to the two of you.

New York City Wedding | Rebecca + Rob

It was pouring rain in NYC almost all day long. In the middle of Rebecca and Rob’s portraits it…stopped for few minutes! Rain did not matter much; it was a beautiful celebration of two sous coming together; it was wonderful to be part of it. Everything took place in the beautiful Chasam Sopher Synagogue located in lower east side of Manhattan. Catering and cake was provided by Above & Beyond ; which offers a very unique approach to kosher catering [and we have to agree-it not only looked amazing; it tasted exquisite].
Rebecca and Rob are moving to San Francisco this [!!] week and we wish them safe travels and lots of luck. We leave you with a little peak into their day…

Manhattan Rooftop Wedding | Aileen + Matt

Matthew and Aileen got married on the rooftop of Andaz Hotel on Wall Street surrounded by closest family and friends… a very simple yet beautiful bouquet featuring huge peonies, very hot shoes, a delicate flowing dress and a bride&groom so deeply in love. Prior to the wedding, we have explored Manhattan with the two of them; from the restaurant “Pescatore” where they had their first date, to Korea Town [karaoke anyone?], to flat iron where we met..ELVIS, to old graffiti building on Bowery and back to Wall Street for the festivities. Those two individuals are so kind and loving; We repeat over and over again; it’s so much honor to be part of such wonderful time of life for our couples.

Their day was amazing, full of laughter and tears; happy, emotional, beautiful. Essence of happiness.
