Beautiful Wedding Albums

We’ll keep this short, as we said it before, good photography is extremely important but beautiful, well made, timeless albums are also what makes the whole experience with us complete. Those are our fine art albums, we keep it simple. 3 size options, 8×8 {usually used as parent books}, 10×10 {medium size book} and 12×12 {large size book}, we can also offer large horizontal or vertical books for a unique look. They come in silk/fabric cover choices that just rock our world. From beautifully muted colors to vibrant and punchy ones. Here are few photos we snapped of albums that just newly arrived and will be sent of to their forever homes. Aren’t they just grand? We secretly wish we could just keep them all.

Botanical Garden Wedding // Anja+Kellye

We shot this wedding late last year, on a beautiful fall day in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, of course with our fave NYC wedding folks, Shana Sperling Events [watch out for her new website coming soon! contact her for now at 917-843-6917] as the fabulous planner, Peartree Flowers providing amazing works of floral art, Pam and Tamara doing the pretty make-up and hair.

We chatted with Anja and Kellye via SKYPE when we were in Guatemala, and knew right away that their personality and vision for the day fit perfectly with our style. We were right; fun, emotional wedding is what we are all about. During the ceremony, besides the laughter that was contagious; I don’t think there was a dry eye, including ours [but hey, it's cool, we can hide that behind our cameras! no biggie!].

Temple Shaaray Tefila Wedding // Rachel + Eli

Hello Monday! It’s been a busy week, and even better weekend; spent in the company of new friends in the industry! We love the fact that we can meet like minded folks and form business and personal friendships that are based on respect, understanding and sharing.

Ok, but we are here to celebrate one of our couples who are just the sweetest people on earth and had very amazing, emotional traditional Temple Shaaray Tefila wedding. We love traditional weddings; its funny, since we call ourselves anything but traditional wedding photographers! But weddings that are deeply rooted in traditions don’t have to be shot in a traditional way at all. We’ve said it many times before that we feel lucky to have such a variety of clients and weddings; that we so happy to be able to see different traditions that celebrate, life, love and family. If you’ve spoken to us, you know that we don’t specialize in any type of weddings; we say we specialize in love. Rachel and Eli’s wedding was all about LOVE. Their gentleness toward each other with soft smiles and glances looking deep into their souls, their family and friends’ joy was contagious! And the celebrations, beautiful Temple ceremony and crazy fun Hora…if you never participated in Hora dance, boy you’re into a treat; it is so much energy.

New Jersey Indian Wedding Photographers // Bhavini & Anand

Bhavini and Anand got married with a traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony in the WillowWood Arboretum in Chester NJ. We don’t get to shoot many outside weddings here in the North East and that just made our heart sing! Their reception followed at Westin with, of course, none other than our fave in South Asian Weddings; performances and lots of amazingly cool dancing. All was perfectly planned by the awesome ladies at Ring To Isle . The wedding was featured in the South Asian Bride Magazine // New Jersey Indian Wedding Photographers couple of weeks ago.

We headed to the city on a beautiful and warm winter day [which frankly felt like early fall] to capture the marriage ceremony of Katrina and Dan who got married in the City Hall. Later we went on around town to take some portraits. NYC looked pretty good as a background for those super nice folks.

Angel Orensanz Wedding // Jo and Dean

So, we can definitely say that this wedding was a riot! Jo and Dean live in California and chose to get married in the ultra cool Angel Orensanz, complete with a burlesque show by their good friends, an amazing crazy cool band and a live rock n’ roll karaoke after party at Arleene’s Grocery. All, perfectly put together by the awesome team at EAP.

In Jo and Dean’s own words “they love rock n’ roll and whiskey” and wanted a true rock star vibe to their wedding and their photos. Let’s face it, they were so extatic and happy they, their family and friends partied like true rock stars. The energy and beauty of the whole event carried well into the night. Yeah, aaand this group can bring down the house and sing. WOW. They killed it.

hand made fine art wedding pieces

They are hand made by us, in our studio, pieces that are printed on vintage papers and transfers, wood blocks, tiny canvases and other materials. We believe that creative processes do not end with the click of the shutter; for us it goes on with digital post processing and then actually outputting the images to a medium. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE the digital era but you know what? there’s something beyond explaining when you hold a photograph, a piece of art in your hands. You just don’t get the same feeling when looking at a computer screen. Due to the processes each piece is different as it reacts to different chemicals and our ideas of finishing it. We won’t go on rambling; we really enjoy making art, from the beginning to the end. Also in the era of having everything bigger and bigger; those images come in tiny sizes. BIG MEMORIES, TINY PRINTS.
