It’s Wednesday and what do we do on Wednesdays? We blog. We leave you with a photo of a moment from a recent wedding. We adore moments and strive to capture them in a real yet artistic way. We want our clients to remember the exact feeling they had in that particular second in time. Here, during a traditional Jewish wedding, the girls whisper secrets and wishes to the bride just after she got ready. By presenting you with photos like that, we want you to feel all the love, support and pure joy everyone around you feels on your wedding day. We want you to remember and feel how full your heart was and how amazing you felt. We allow all the moments to tell your story.
Speaking of moments, there’s another moment of ours featured on MOMENT JUNKIE today. It’s from a recent Indian Wedding.

Yes, yes, we know, we’re one day late with a blog post, but we won’t be posting many photos for the next couple of weeks, except sneak peaks because we’re working on something big… so we’re saving all the sharing for that time.    We are super excited about it and can’t wait for it.  As well as to share all the photos of recent weddings and sessions with our friends who visit our blog and potential brides who stumble upon our work.    Those that know us, know that we are extending our coverage to PA and want to shoot more weddings in this beautiful state, since we’re residents of it now.   Our clientele is from various places in NY, upstate, CT, NJ and beyond as we travel for weddings basically anywhere where there are cool folks in love…but we’d love to cover stuff close to home too and that includes Philadelphia, Main Line,  Lehigh Valley, Poconos and beyond…

Katie contacted us long time ago, it seems like ages, to shoot their Neshanic Valley Golf Course Wedding.   It was without much talk, interviews, shenanigans….she knew what she wanted.   Good, real good photography and she had her heart set on our work.   Well, well, may we say that these type of clients make our heart sing?   That reminds us of an article we read today about the very fact of being booked for your artistry vs. being booked to click the shutter for a shot list [whether you're a bride or another photographer; this article is worth the read]…but back to the wedding…    Katie’s parents have an amazing old Victorian house in NJ, where she got ready.   Then we were off to a traditional Catholic ceremony and after that we took some portraits at a cute, very very cute, and very very little schoolhouse [it seemed to fit since Katie is a teacher, don't you think?] and then we went off to the Neshanic Valley Golf Course where their reception was held.

After Katie and Read get their slide-show this is what we get [I mean, doesn't this rock? we literally LIVE for words such those]

Nicole and Brad’s mom found us when looking at hudson valley wedding photography on google.   Although we don’t have many parents finding/booking us because we are definitely your typical traditional wedding photographers and we really want to connect with our couples in order to give them amazing photography; we had a feeling Nicole’s mom was cool [we were right].    We set up a skype meeting with them,  chatted and they booked.   They are super laid back and we thought we’d be the perfect fit for them instantly.    Their wedding took place in the beautiful Hudson Valley NY,  in the Kittle House.     We adore upstate New York, the forests, the mountains,  Hudson River… we used to go camping a lot and upstate NY was our place to go, it holds a special place in our hearts.

We enjoyed being part of Nicole and Brad’s wedding and getting to know them, their friends and family.    Brad is a runner; we’ve heard he’s pretty fast too.   We loved the way Nicole looked at him.   They definitively go together wonderfully, it was apparent through out the day.    Although the weather in the past weeks was sketchy they decided to have their traditional Jewish ceremony under the chuppah, outside, overlooking the valley.   Big fluffy dark clouds gathered as the ceremony went on;  at the end of which it started raining a bit, only to have an amazing rainbow show up in seconds.   Everybody stayed and took tones of photos as our couple were escorted to the Yichud room.

The party went on; including Hora dancing, some rapping form Brad and his friends,  emotional speeches and more dancing.   Thank you guys, for choosing us, for trusting us and for allowing us to capture your wedding with full artistic freedom!
